Great band!

Yeah sure, but if the festival is called Metal FEMALE Voices Fest there is a reason I think :>

A rising star on the progressive/symphonic metal front TO-MERA, I recently had the chance to talk to bassist Lee Barrett.

Read it here: http://www.masterful-magazine.com/interview.php?wyw=567

Don't take this the wrong way, but isn't it time for new bands?? I think for the past 2 years I've seen people asking for the same old bands (After forever, Epica, Autumn, flowing tears etc etc.). Sure they're ok! But come on! There are many other bands out there that haven't played MFVF before...

Here's my list:
Diablo Swing Orchestra!
Matriarch (for the heavy day http://www.myspace.com/matriarch)
Silentium
Xandria
Stolen Babies (again, a GREAT band for the heavy day! My god they're so awesome! plus they did that tour with WT and Lacuna Coil)

And if you want "big" names (as in, popular bands who will bring in a bigger crowd), here's the list:
Nightwish (it's been a while)
WT
Tarja (She was awesome live! Very energetic)

Xandria have played before
WT are not available as Helcanen said some days ago
I agree about the bands that play the fest too much, like Epica, unless the have a new album, why have them again to do the same show?

How could I forget Mortal Love? Definite yes.
And having listened to the promo of Draconian's new album, I definitely have to say, DRACONIAN!!!!
Tristania would be awesome too. And again I say, Angtoria, Elis and Diablo Swing Orchestra!!

Yes Stolen Babies are AWESOME!
Festivals should give more chances to those innovating bands like Diablo Swing Orchestra, UnExpect and Stolen Babies
I think they are adding something different and fresh to the music scene, they are interesting

i'd like that too, their new album is more uptempo and suitable for live performances
