It will surely be Epica with new temporary singer Amanda Somerville.

The band told on their website that Simone can make the gigs not too far from NL, not the tours ... that's why Amanda make it.

(my answer doesn't mean that it will be Epica Wink )

Having just seen youtube videos of Tristania live in Athens, i'm gonna have to change my mind and say TRISTANIA! (even if they were rude and arrogant when they played before)
I wouldn't mind Epica playing again, although you can see them pretty much anywhere now, they almost always give a really good show.

Tristania were very bad here in Athens, no one actually liked them but they blamed it on the "tech probs" that apparently no other band in the fest had
Luckily I had free pass otherwise i'd cry for my money....bad bad show (why did they even choose Mary if she is going to sing in a -bad- Vibeke way, I thought she would do her own thing...)

They seem always having tech problems Laughing
Mary is a good singer, but maybe isn't the good one for Tristania (like Blaze in Maiden, etc...)

Always the same excuse for Tristania I see...
Well, I like Mary, but not in Tristania.

We never get any reply from Therion ... (since last year)

I just noticed 3/4 members of the band left/got fired recently :s
So it seems like they won't be touring for a while anyway.

I really hope Christofer can find adequate replacements. The band's had many replacements in the past, but I don't think they ever had to replace everyone at once.
Sad

In all the case Therion wasn't able to make it this year (studio etc ..., no tour foreseen).

Weird as we sent them an e-mail, on the address written on their website.
Now it's too late, as we are in negociation with the last bands.

They should contact by themselve if they want to play once Wink

Lycanthia sent in a CD too and also had no reply.

It would be nice just to get an email saying what they thought of the CD and any reasons for or against.
