Come to think of it, Eluveitie could be invited, too...even though they are not female FRONTED, they have 2 female musicians, and they can put up quite an extraordinary ambience.

Yes, that's totally right, otherwise, the festival concept isn't respected ...
Eluveitie is a very good band, but doesn't fit.

Yeah, but one of the female band members occasionally grunts... well I guess that isn't a convincing argument Smile

We really don't need to hear about her sex life.

May has passed for a while now, and I note that there is no indication on VoA's web site on whether a new singer has been found. I would certainly like to see VoA in good form at the festival, and it's still four months, but... do you have a plan B if they don't get their act together?

VOA will play, they confirmed me that, and they should announce something on their website these next days.

The bill is full now.

Epica can't make it as they signed an exclusivity with another festival (not really metal but that's their choice).
We can't wait until august-september to announce a headliner or co-headliner name on the bill, and so, after all the big summer fests Confused

After Forever, as we already explained can't make it, as they took a break.

Indeed. Serpentcult is an excellent band that would definitely suite the last day.
All band members are extremely friendly and I guess they are not that expensive (yet).
They're releasing a new album soon, by the way.

Last week I ended up seeing lots of bands that would be great for future editions of this festival. A review of the three gigs I went to can be found here.

So of the bands that played last week, I'd recommend the following:
Hanging Doll
Season's End
Pythia
Keltic Jihad
Apparition
Tainted Grace

Jukebox: Metal
