Just wondering, did you get around to visiting Gent and Brugge?
And what did you think of it?

I'm glad you liked Brugge Very Happy
And yes, Gent is like a bigger, but diluted version of Brugge
*hides from possible Gentenaars on this forum Wink

And Rhode-St-Genese? The only thing worth seeing there is the animosity between French speaking and Dutch speaking Belgians Very Happy

Even mentioning Manneken Pis just makes me wonder. Maybe you can clarify which of the three options below that is the correct one:

People are truly proud of Manneken Pis??

There is just not much worth to see in Brussels

People are just making fun of all the tourist going to see Manneken Pis

It's more for the fun to talk about this statue Wink
This is a little funny side of Brussels, with funny legends around.

Vlien is from Netherlands, then it's not about proudness Very Happy

Well as you probably realise I'm not impressed...

Next time I hope to see Brugge though. I guess that's the city to recommend visiting.

Yes, it probably is :p

I've never understood the appeal of that statue to tourists or people from Brussels.
And it's not even the real/original one, which is on the market square of Geraardsbergen.

And yes, Brugge is definately the place to go. Most beautiful city in the world Very Happy
