A whole group of us were coming by eurostar train from London. They have annouced an industrial action in France and most of the trains are being cancelled.
We are very worried and having already booked the hotel, shuttle and festival tickets .

Are any of those refundable?

the strike will go from thursday to sunday apparently making returning another struggle.

All planes seemed to have gone expensive so us getting there seem less and less likely.
Especially it was 9 of us.

We have so been looking forward to the festival we are getting very worried.

Anyone else coming from the UK and what alternative routes are you taking.

Thanks Cecile

Is it sure at 100 % ???

And with the ferry (arriving in Oostende-Belgium) ?
The shuttles will be refunded as long as I know it before to send the list to the bus company, and this will be done this afternoon.
After I will not have any access to internet.

We don't want to cancel it all unless we have a 100%
at the moment they have cancel about 50% of the trains but our one is still there.
the eurostar website state that it is very likely to have further cancelations in a “very short notice"

Hard to tell.

I guess we will have to risk it , we have been so excited about coming along.

I have cheked planed but due to strike the prices have gone mad...will look at ferry forgot about them

thanks

I am also coming over from Waterloo on the E* on the 10.43 departure to Brussels. This is the latest information on their website.
Friday 19th of October

On Friday 19 October the following four Eurostar services will be cancelled:

9003 06.22 Paris - London Waterloo

9148 16.39 London Waterloo - Brusselsi

9109 07.05 Brussels - London Waterloo
9149 17.05 Brussels - London Waterloo

Travellers booked on the above four trains who choose not to travel will be able to exchange their tickets for travel within the next 60 days.

All ticket exchanges are subject to availability.

There is nothing mentioned about Sunday yet. I am still travelling down from the Midlands tomorrow with all fingers and toes crossed.

Hopefully we shall be okay.
I imagine their will be delay, they also warned about more last minute cancellation but we shall take the risk and go tomorrow morning and keep our finger crossed.
we are on the 8.49 but worth knowing their is one later.

Two guys from our lot also coming from the midland, the rest mainly london.

Good luck and hopefully we shall get there without too much problem..
