^^it was kinda known, i think the bands that got stuck in traffic would play in next edition, meaning edition 2009 Mr. Green

I saw that I wasn't alone to ask for Akphaezya, does SB know if they would be available ?

yes they are and they really want to play Okay

Arrow Okay !!!!

Sigfried, Akphaezya's metal isn't really weird. It's simply music I think, as if metal opened a way to music !
...Their shows are different, sooooo metal that you have from sympho to Brutal'death'Black.
(look at the video on youtube ! )
Nell can sing classical, weird or growls easily !!!
.

.
.
.
.
Ok... And for Cadaveria or Arch enemy ? No one ?
Crying or Very sad

And please, stop asking for bands we already saw at a previous MFVF, there are so much new bands to discover, and possible headliners that never come ! I wouldn't like to see each year the same show ! would you ?

Whyzdom was obvious (winners of the warm up last year, quite good I think, heard some songs, not bad), Midnattsol was a bit expected too since they couldn't perform last year, so YEEY, they are back ^^
But then, ugh, folk... I personally hate folk, it's like, come on all, let's dance -_-

Btw, I too think MFVF3 was the one with most good bands! AF, Epica AND Lacuna Coil on one day... That was simply FALUBLOUS! Leaves' Eyes too, note that they performed on the side stage and as the 9th or 10th band on the list (out of let's say 13) so not that high (yeah there were 2 stages back then) and then 2 years later they came back suddenly on main stage and as headliner?? Still don't understand it (on he other hand, out of all MFVF5 names, who else except Epica could headline, so maybe it does make sense Razz ).

Don't make your mind up before listening to the band. Kivimetsän Druidi likes to describe its' music as symphonic fantasy metal with influences from folk, celtic, black and even thrash metal. You should go and have a look at their MySpace site www.myspace.com/kivimetsandruidi or check these videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3b4FcjYU30 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkK7vgNHlOc

Lol, what do you think I have done Razz I listened an entire cd of them, true, heavy grunts in the songs, but when that stops, it's time to start dancing Razz Of course it's not folk, it's 'folk metal' and the rest you say, but I personally dislike that a lot (even with different infuences). Mentioning trash metal is funny though, I'm sure trashers discard that opinion Razz I'll ask some of my friends who are really into that.

Ok. So you have to drink during Midnattsol's gig, too as their music has lots of norse folklore influences! Embarassed Beware not get too drunk! Mr. Green

Why we got it wrong ?
This post that I hate to receive.

Some people asked UNSUN in their wishlist.
If you don't like UNSUN it's up to you, other fans can like them.
UNSUN (even it's a new band) receive more promotion than Unexpect.

And as you said, if you WANT to see that band @ MFVF, maybe you can pay their travel costs/hotel/fee by yourself.
They are not famous, and they never contact us, never send their cd, which it's another good reasons for us to think they're not interested.

When you wanna play a festival, BANDS ONLY have to send us their requests (excepting for headliners).
