For your information, we are just back from the venue, where we had a meeting with the owners.
We explained that a lot of people asked for a camping ... and convinced them that MFVF visitors are really nice people and they will not make any troubles Wink

So, they asked me to start a reservation list, and if there is at least 25 camping tents they can submit this to a responsible.
Why 25 tents ? To cover the costs they will have to place chimical toilets, cleaning the ground, ...
It should be 10 euros per tent, no matters if you are 1 or 5 inside Smile

I would definitely consider camping!
Is there a site I can get to for info on buses etc.? I found the de Lijne website, but I didn't understand a word of it, and google translate is obviously not the best Razz

EDIT:

Now seeing if we can manage a little shuttle from Aalst station for visitors, between the band transportation's schedule.
If drivers have time to make it, why not ?

Is that for camping people? Or am I just being incredibly stupid?
Sorry for the questions, you're already busy enough as it is Embarassed

Isn't it rather cold that time of year?

Maybe yes, maybe not ...
Some people have good material, so they don't care of the weather I think.

Last year, some guys found a camping a few km far from the venue, and they will do the same this year.

The more I think about it the more tempted I am by this... assuming I can prepare myself for the cold! Very Happy Would mean being able to take it easy at the end of the day and there'd be no chance of missing the opening bands like last year travelling from Brussels.

Don't forget that I need 25 reservations (25 tents min) to submit the request to the venue.
Reservations have to be sent by e-mail (check the website).

The city will send the paper to the Oktoberhallen.
Once these are signed, everything is ok !
We are just waiting now for more details.

It seems that the ground can contain around 100 tents, but more than 50 are reserved now ... if your reservation is not already done, don't wait Wink

Any clue on how far the camping terrain will be from the festival? Smile
I'd like to know if I need to bring my hiking boots.

They told us that it would be placed behind the church in the center of Wieze.
As the center is maybe 200 or 300 meters far from the venue ... it's really close.
