As far as I could find, they didn't perform yet in Europe, and maybe it's something that could attract a lot of people.
It's the only female tribute band of Iron Maiden, and the are called ' The Iron Maidens'.

I have to think about my signature. I want to do it right. Untill then you have to accept this one.

emilie autumn is hardly a suitable candidate for METAL female voices festival, sure she's gothiclike and fits the profile, but her music is far from metal.

I like emilie autumn, but i wouldnt want to see her at mfvf, if she would get a spot there we might as well invite snoop doggy dog or will smith to the party:P

Indeed, Emilie Autumn would not fit the festival line-up very well, though you could always consider her show to be sort of 'interlude'.
I think that might be a nice 'break' in comparison to all the guitar work.

as true as that might be, an artist like emilie autumn wont show up for a simple interluding job, nor will anyone appreciate her being there as a simple interlude.

She just cant fit into this particular festival

I saw yesterday DRACONIAN live again...and they were AMAZING!!! They played for over 1h30 and they got the crowd absolutely crazy!! The venue was fully booked, around 800 greek people and there was even a moshpit for the faster songs!

So, renewing my list:

DSO
Madder Mortem
Draconian
Revamp
Pin-Up Went Down

for the main priorities

I couldn't believe it myself either, they haven't got much promotion other than some reviews in Metal Hammer but the team who organised the concert did a good job (flyers, posters, etc)

Just to remember this, Lacrimosa isn't a front female metal band. Wink
Tilo is the singer, Anne is only making some backing vocals ...

For headliners, choice is very limited, especially when bands are making a break or stop etc ... Rolling Eyes

Really, I didn't know that Penumbra had announced that? Obviously their hiatus has suggested it, but I've not found any confirmation of a breakup yet. Do you have a link or remember where you saw it? I always think of Jarlaath as the main person of Penumbra, since he is the founder. But irregardless, I don't think Penumbra will be able to play, and it's strange when people suggest bands that are either disbanded or inactive.
