Yes I know, but times they are a'changing (B.Dylan Razz ).
Maybe they could be interested now, and a 'no' you have, could change in a 'yes' you get.
There's nothing to loose.
Only a donkey never changes mind. Laughing

That's also something people supose when thinking of Lacuna Coil. Would they be interested?
Ask, and you will know. It 's already 2 years ago they performed in Belgium if I am right. (GMM 2008?)
So??????

Let's cross our fingers!!!and bang our head

I would be very surprised if Lacuna Coil play (although it would be great if they did) They have said before that they consider MFVF "too goth".
But as Val and Phil have managed to get acts like Arch Enemy, Eths, The Agonists etc etc to play together with Girlschool, Doro it proves that MFVF is not goth at all and pleases all styles. I would like to see Lacuna Coil play again though.

I suppose you could do something unexpected and book Fuck the Facts from Canada. Female fronted grindcore in vein of (early) Napalm Death, Nasum, etc.

Although they are no headliner, Italy's Winter Haze would be a good fit for this festival. As far as headliners is concerned, booking Nightwish is always a safe bet, they draw in a good crowd. I like Epica just as much as the next guy/girl, but having them headline every year is becoming boring. I saw them (almost) every year now, starting from MFVF III. I'd rather see Kivimetsän Druidi again, even though the whole pagan/folk fad is (finally) dying. The Legion Of Hetheria should be invited again, it has been since 2006 since they last appeared on this festival and in Europe in general (I think).

Forever Slave has also not been on the fest since 2006. Most of the known line-up are now in a new band called Innerfate, which have released a digital demo and a music video recently.

Forever Slave please nooooooooo!I'll have to cut my ears and throw it at dogs if they play again Rolling Eyes
I was thinking of The Legion of Hetheria too but I think that they are now only male fronted....I might be wrong though

Btw, Nemesea are making a greek tour, with 10 shows, I will attend 1-2, I'm curious what's their "new" direction Laughing
