Please stop sending us your request !
We'll try to build a good line-up, but please wait until mid-November to send us the names of the bands you wanna see.

Thank you all for your understanding.

Just a noisy opinion, I am curious why not rebook the whole ' Beauty And the Beast' package: Sirenia, Elis, Stream of Passion and Leaves' Eyes.. I think MFVF can arrange a nice package deal (just a suggestion, not forcing anything).

As MFVF organisator I think it is important to keep an eye on the club tours of some bands at the end of this year, when they are doing well.. they also can guarantee a huge audience a half year later. maybe that makes it easier to find a new line-up (always a very hard job of course!).

New cd releases are also very important, like Skeptical Minds and Tristania this year.. that was really an excellent booking!

good luck!

OK, it's about mid-November, so I'll continue with the suggestions:

Madder Mortem (I know I'm repeating myself, but they are O.V.E.R.D.U.E. to play at this festival!)
Stolen Babies
Bergtatt

They would all make for some diversity.

If none of the above should be considered for next year's festival, I hope that at least Midnattsol will be playing again. They will also have a new album out by then.

I'm sure a great line-up will be provided for us once again, just like all other years!

Lemme pick out my highlights from the previous MFVF editions which had a lot of success in general as well:
- MFVF3: Lacuna Coil
- MFVF4: Forever Slave, Xandria
- MFVF5: Flowing Tears, Draconian, Battlelore, Distorted
- MFVF6: Atargatis, Macbeth, Trail of Tears
- MFVF7: Autumn, Deadlock, Van Canto
- MFVF8: ...too early to re-invite these bands I guess Razz

All of these bands I'd like to see again! Very Happy
And a newcomer: Amaranthe!

I also have a long wish list, but I think, we should wait until the official Band's suggestions thread will be started. And this in the Forum MFVF9. Stay Tuned.
