BATTLELORE confirmed @ MFVF 9

The line-up is close to be fully booked !

Tickets are available online through Tickenet.be, be sure to get it on time.

Such an awesome lineup already!!

Suddenly I've had the urge to hope that In This Moment was invited! They'd show an excellent aspect of female fronted metal from North America...
but then of course, so would The Birthday Massacre!! Ugh... nuts... hope it' both of 'em!! :

Already an awesome line-up!
Is there still a spot free for Edenbridge?
Would be great if they would join the line-up!

When Epica were recently in England I spoke to Simone and she said maybe but we have played for the last 100 years. So one more year would not make a difference I replied. With that she smiled and said lets wait and see. Then the next night she said to one of my friends that Epica WILLNOT play MFVF this year so that for sure means they probably will. But then again????

I am still hoping against all hope that In This Moment will be over for it? Keeping Fingers crossed. And maybe even Eths could make an appearance?
Who knows?

Phil wrote "The line-up is close to be fully booked !". So, I think the headliners of MFVF9 will be Doro and Therion.

Phil also wrote somewhere that Doro will be headliner if they don't find any other one, but said nothing about Therion. And really, Therion a headliner? Cmon, that has to be a last resort then right? I mean, they aren't THAT great or big...

I'm having a hunch for Lacuna Coil, they're performing on Graspop this year and are working on a new album... Anyway, whatever it'll be, I'll be there ^^

Therion are bigger than what some people might think, they've been around for very long, more than Nightwish
And they are one of few bands who've actually been able to do worldtours unline others in this line-up.

I personally think we could expect Lacuna Coil or Tarja to headline this year as well
Although Lacuna Coil have taken a step towards the more commercial areas which wouldn't fit this festival, same with Within Temptation, Evanescence and Nightwish
But I have hunch that 2 more bands will be announced soon, 1 of them a "small" band, and the second a headliner.
The festival have grown bigger for each year and have also confirmed more bands than previous years.

Ancient Bards would be great yes !

For the headliner, everything is okay for me if it's not Epica ...

In Belgium, Therion has the same notoriety than Epica.
You organize 2 gigs separately and they will bring the same amount of fans.
So if Epica can headline, Therion can also be a headliner Wink

And, as they never played before, this is "fresh blood" for the fest.
Therion is amazing on stage, you won't regret it !

In France, Therion's notoriety is bigger than Epica's notoriety, so I think Therion is a better headliner ;-)
As Helcanen said, they bring many people too, maybe even more :-)

So, Therion's confirmation is awesome, and I know I won't regret ;-D

I have seen Therion last november in Trix, and their gig was realy amazing: very good show, performance, coördination and beautiful voices. They have the potential of a valuable headliner. Their live concert is superior to their cd's. If you haven't seen them, you can not judge them on their albums only.
Yesterday I saw Phil on Tarja's concert in Trix. A sign on the (MFVF-) wall???

I have to think about my signature. I want to do it right. Untill then you have to accept this one.

We came to see the show, make promotion for the fest and other gigs.
Tarja isn't available during that weekend, and more than 2 shows in less than 1 year would be too much Confused
