Thanks for compyling with my request to open the section for 2014.

Midnattsol (if they aren't available, I would like to see Savn who also feature her on vocals and will release their debut soon)

Stolen Babies (not a pure metal band, but still heavy/aggressive enough to appeal to metal fans and one of the most original bands you can get)

Madder Mortem (one of the most original metal bands with a great singer - I hope they are still around, since it has been quite quiet about them for more than a year now)

Mortillery (excellent female-fronted old school Thrash Metal from Canada; they are currently touring in Europe as one of the supporting acts for Sepultura - saw them live at the concert in Bochum last Friday and enjoyed them more than any of the other three bands; I hope they will apply for MFVF)

Avatarium (excellent female-fronted Doom Metal from Sweden, my favourite newcomer in 2013)

Bergtatt (A mixture of Norwegian Folk, Rock and Metal, they released their new album "Lagnadsoger" just a few months ago and they really would love to play at this festival - the fact that all their lyrics are in Norwegian make them very special), here's an audio-clip of one of their new songs titled "Huldra":

And since this is a wish list, my last wish is: Nightwish

First and foremost: Krypteria (hope they are touring again soon) and Pythia.

Otherwise, I'd be very happy if Magica or Magistina Saga were to play for the first time, or Аркона and Unsun to return.

Many favourite bands unavalible this year... Sad So no use listing them...

But so many GREAT ones left!!

Here comes RedRockerSweden´s votes for 2014:

TARJA

Well, almost everybody´s #1 singer Mr. Green
I still haven´t seen any 100% confirment that she is unavalible so...
The most PERFECT headliner there is!

LAPIS LAZULI

We allready got the best Sweden has to offer, THERION! Here is the 2nd best Sweden has to offer!

Brand new Live clip from 2014! CHECK THIS BAND OUT!

VOICES OF DESTINY

FANTASTIC band with 2 great albums in the baggage! New singer just announced, and a new album in the pipeline!
The big mystery of MFVF... why this band haven´t been booked allready!

WHYZDOM

Would be a perfect addition to the Festival! Marie Rouyer took this band to the next level!
No matter where i have to travel, i WILL see this band live in 2014! Hope it will be Wieze! Mr. Green

BENIGHTED SOUL

One of the MFVF highlights for me.
A truly GREAT band that is symphonic french like no other! EPIC!!

ReVamp

Seen 3 gigs on the current tour, and the band is just AWESOME! Headliner? Well, WHO NOT!? Mr. Green
-There is not many that can compete with Floor´s talent. Clip from a truly Amazing evening in Eindhoven!

SIRENIA

Would make a perfect addition! Wished by MANY! And the latest album ROCK!

STREAM OF PASSION

They just get better & better for everytime i see them!
7th gig (in the 5th country) i saw, in Zwolle couple of weeks ago, was AVESOME!

I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one anymore who would like to see them. Their appearance surely would increase the variety of the programme and a band like Avatarium hasn't played at this festival before. I'm already looking forward to seeing them live next Sunday at the Roadburn Festival. (Actually, they are the only reason why I bought a ticket for that day.)

On another note, having noticed that Holy Moses have just been confirmed, I suppose this also means there's no hope to see Mortillery this year. Even though I still might enjoy some of their old songs, I think Mortillery would have been a better choice as far as old school Thrash Metal is concerned, especially since their vocalist offers more variety. Well, maybe next year.
