Beers, bacardi (lemon, etc ...) ... I don't remember if there were other alcohol. Not stronger for sure.
In the VIP area, we can maybe add some wine.

A couple of perhaps silly questions please:

What is the temperature like inside the Oktoberhallen - does it get really hot, or does it stay cool due to it's size?

How would you recommend getting back to Aalst after the concerts are over if one doesn't have a car? Is the public transport still running (I am guessing not)?

Thank you!

Temperature is a question for the audience, because I can't really say. We are running the whole day, so for us it's not cold.
For sure a fact that changes everything is : if the venue is empty or full.
I think that it's not cold inside Wink

To get back to Aalst after the festival, check with some people who are coming and go back to this city, maybe some could help people in the same situation than you.

Public transportation stops to drive early in the evening.

From my own experience I can say that the Oktoberhallen can get really really cold when they're empty... but that was at the after-lan of a lan-party somewhere in a winter month and we only occupied a small corner of the hall ^^
Normally with activity and hundreds/thousands of people there it should be alright Smile

50 inner city, 100 out of cities and 130 on the motorway?

and are there any controls at the border?

50 in the city, and sometimes less when you approch of school areas.
70 to 90 on big road, but be careful, it always changes
120 on highway

You can speak Dutch when you order your drinks at the public bar, as the staff is from the venue itself (not all speak French or English)
At merch stand, VIP bar : French, English, Dutch ...

We try to have a staff speaking a lot of language Wink

Will the photopit be devided into 2 areas again, like last year?
I mean, last year there was an area in front of the stage where no one could come and then you had the photopit.
Will it be the same this year or not, as the stage will be much bigger?
I mean, why that area where no one could come? I saw no human being ever walking there, so why the hell was it even there?
And will photographers like me be able to make photos in the photopit during Leaves' Eyes (first 3 songs of course)
or will all the place be taken in by camera people? I hope it will be the same as for all the bands and that camera
people find their own way Very Happy

No it won't. Last year the sound/light company has made mistakes and didn't had enough place to put the curtain during the change over. So they put it in the photopit ...

Now, we work again with the same company than MFVF3.
The sound was better in 2005 than last year, so this year it should be ok.

About pictures during the LE show, we will see with their material. Should be ok for the 3 first songs.
